Police Charge Man For Fondling Woman At Nassau Bus Stop
He tried to take pictures up her skirt, then lifted her skirt and grabbed her, police say.

UPDATE: Police have arrested Jonathan Vega, 25, of Liberty Court in Hempstead, on Tuesday in connection with the sexual assault in Uniondale. He is charged with forcible touching and second-degree unlawful surveillance. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
ORIGINAL STORY: Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at a bus stop in Uniondale in July.
According to police, a 24-year-old woman was waiting for the bus when the man approached her at Hampton Place and Uniondale Avenue at 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19.

Police say the man was trying to take pictures under the woman's skirt with his cell phone. Police say he then lifted up her dress and began to fondle her. The man then fled the scene in a white four-door Honda Accord.


Police described the man as Hispanic, around 25 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 170 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
