Police say the seven teens beat the other boy and stole his phone before fleeing the scene.

A group of teens from Hempstead were arrested after police say they assaulted a student at Uniondale High School to steal his phone.
According to the Nassau County Gang Investigations Squad, a 15-year-old boy was outside of Uniondale High School, located at 933 Goodrich St., when he was attacked by seven people. Police say the attackers punched and kicked him in the face and chest, causing multiple cuts and bruises. They then stole an iPhone 7 Plus from him, police said.
Witnesses allegedly saw the seven people get into a red Nissan Murano and flee the scene. Officers later saw the car near Chester Street and Henry Street and pulled it over. Police say all seven attackers were inside. They were all placed under arrest. Police say the iPhone was found in the car.
