Shots Fired From Vehicle In Westbury; 1 Person Hit: Police
The victim was sitting in another car when he was struck by the gunfire on Sunday night, police say.
WESTBURY, NY — Police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting in Westbury.
While a white Mercedes-Benz sedan, with four people inside, was parked on Baldwin Drive, an unknown vehicle headed westbound fired multiple rounds before fleeing, police said.
One of the passengers, a 22-year-old male victim, was struck in the ankle and was taken to a nearby hospital. The other three occupants were not injured, authorities said.
