I love kitchen gadgets. I have so many, but my newest acquisition is one of my favorites! This gadget makes my life so easy. It’s called Simply Slice. The first time I saw this was at my friend Pat's house at a luncheon. I was so excited when I found it at TJMaxx for around $3.00.
In the summer we love to eat a lot of fruit, like I’m sure many of you do. Strawberries are one of our favorites. But cutting the stems and then slicing all the strawberries is so time consuming and sometimes messy. That’s where this gadget comes in handy. Clean the strawberries, cut off the stem, then open the slicer, place strawberry in, close and done! When you open the slicer the strawberries fall off the top and right into the bowl. No fuss; simply rinse the slicer and dry till next time!
