NYPD Officers from the 113th Pct. In Queens Escort Senior Citizens to Springfield Gardens Stop & Shop

Tanya Duhaney, Officer Vestel Montgomery, Det. Dorrin Ferguson and Det. Tammie Perry) from the New York Police Department’s 113th Precinct in Queens. The officers escorted the 20 residents on Senior Day to help them get out their house.

According to Detective Tanya Duhaney, of the 113th Pct. Community Affairs Unit many of the seniors who are in their seventies and eighties are either homebound or have difficulty shopping by themselves, so officers from the 113th escorted them to the supermarket.

Stop & Shop Store Manager, Vinnie Anzano says he lauds the outreach of the officers from the 113th and it was a pleasure to host the seniors in his store.
