Long Island Teacher Accused of Sexually Harassing Her Male Coworkers

The 51-year-old is accused of touching and making inappropriate comments to male teachers at Valley Stream North High School.

A teacher from Garden City has been accused of sexually harassing her male coworkers at Valley Stream North High School.

Cecilia Sanossian, a 51-year-old married mother of two, according to the New York Post, is the subject of a complaint filed with the New York State Division of Human Rights and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Male teachers at the high school located in Franklin Square claim that Sanossian, who was the head of the social studies department, touched and made inappropriate comments to them.

Sanossian allegedly called one of her coworkers “hot-fudge chocolate that students want to eat” and told another teacher “I give the best head,” the Post reported.

Sanossian resigned from her position as a department head, according to school documents, but she remains a teacher at the school. The teachers who filed the complaint, identified by the Post as 38-year-old Al Daddino, of Garden City, and 42-year-old John Brennan, of Brooklyn, say they do not want Sanossian to return to her job in September.
