Teen Charged With Murder in Fatal Nassau Shooting: Police
The 17-year-old was arrested on Thursday.

Hempstead, NY — A Hempstead teen was recently charged with the murder of a 23-year-old man found shot to death on the sidewalk in Hempstead on Saturday, according to Nassau Police.
Manuel Howe, 17, and Delroy Carter, 25, also of Hempstead, were both arrested on Thursday in connection to the incident, police said.
Howe was charged with second-degree murder, and Carter was charged with hindering a prosecution, police said. Both will be arraigned on Thursday.

LaDaniel McCloud, of Hempstead, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk at Laurel Street at about 5:41 a.m. on July 2. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:55 a.m. by a medic from the LIJ Ambulance service.
