"The North Pool" by Rajiv Joseph, at The Vineyard Theatre

"The North Pool" is packed with attention-grabbing issues that are current as well as timeless.  When a talented high school flutist commits suicide, the administration seeks answers and perhaps someone to blame.  A transfer student of Middle Eastern ethnicity becomes a person of interest.  This drama by Mr. Joseph will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the 80 minute performance.  Subtle alterations from the text were made, which only enhanced the delivery by the actors.

If you seek a small intimate theatre experience, with provocative cutting-edge shows, easily accessible from Penn Station, then the Vineyard is for you.   Just off Union Square, the Vineyard Theatre is celebrating its 30th Anniversary, as an incubator of such award-winning shows as Avenue Q and The Scottsboro Boys.

"The North Pool" closes March 24.  Tickets now only $40.  Reserve yours at vineyardtheatre.org or call 212-353-3366.
