TOB Residents Can Help Fight Hunger By Visiting Beyond Van Gogh
The food drive is running at the Old Country Road exhibit until Aug. 6.

WESTBURY, NY — Here's an update to a story Patch first told you about last month.
The immersive Beyond Van Gogh exhibit is joining with the Town of Oyster Bay and Long Island Cares for a food drive.
Residents who purchase a ticket and bring at least two non-perishable food items will receive one complimentary admission per ticket holder.

"Residents can enjoy the iconic artwork of Vincent Van Gogh while displaying generosity and helping children who may not have access to school meals during the summer break," Supervisor Joseph Saladino said in a statement.
The food drive runs until Aug. 6.

Long Island Cares accepts a range of food and beverages, including canned soups, tuna, juice bottles and boxes of pasta.
Tickets can be purchased on their website. Beyond Van Gogh, located at Samanea New York on Old Country Road, is scheduled to close on Labor Day.
