Waldorf Students Deliver Food to The Inn Shelter
Garden City students bring goods to Mary Brennan Inn Food Kitchen and Homeless Shelter in Hempstead.
Students from the Waldorf School of Garden City’s sustainable agriculture class recently delivered over 90 lbs. of freshly harvested vegetables from the School’s garden to the Mary Brennan Inn Food Kitchen and Homeless Shelter in Hempstead, N.Y. The students were given a tour of the facility and learned how their donation would impact the community.
