Woman Charged in Fatal Hempstead Shooting: Police
The woman was charged with killing a Hempstead man and injuring another, police say.
A 20-year-old Hempstead woman was arrested on Friday in connection to a shooting that killed one man and injured another, according to Nassau Police.
Laquasia Calloway was charged with criminal negligent homicide and second degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
She will be arraigned on Saturday.

On Thursday morning, 37-year-old Damien Pinckney was shot once in the chest while in his home on Lawson Street, sustaining a fatal injury, police said.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:59 a.m. by a staff physician.

A 19-year-old man was also shot in the arm and transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.
