Woman Drunkenly Crashes With Child In Car: Nassau Police
Police say the woman crashed into a pole while driving drunk. No one was injured.
GARDEN CITY PARK, NY — A Port Jefferson woman was arrested Sunday night after Nassau Police say she drunkenly crashed her car with a young child in the back seat.
According to police, Noreen A. Foster, 51, of Pilgrim Drive, was driving a 2009 Nissan Rogue when she hit a pole at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Tuxedo Avenue at 8:58 p.m.
Officers responded and investigated, and police say they found a 6-year-old child in the car. The child was released to a family member.

No one was injured in the crash.
Foster was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI (Leandra's Law), second-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child. She was arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead. An order of protection was issued, and she was ordered held on bail of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
