Woman Rear-Ends Police Car, Gets Arrested For DWI
BREAKING: The patrol car was occupied by two officers, who were taken to a hospital for treatment of neck and back injuries.

A Bay Shore woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say she rear-ended a patrol car while driving drunk.
According to Nassau police, Katie Kirk, 21, of Dove Lane, rear-ended a Nassau County Police Department patrol car with her 2013 Jeep Wrangler on Oak Street, at the entrance to Hofstra University in Uniondale, at 3:45 a.m. The patrol car was occupied by two police officers. The officers were transported to a local hospital for treatment of neck and back injuries.
Kirk was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operator. She was arraigned on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
