You Can Donate Girl Scout Cookies To Essential Nassau Workers
You can purchase cookies through the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, and they'll be donated to people fighting the coronavirus.

GARDEN CITY, NY — In these trying times, even small gestures can go a long way. To help facilitate that, people can now purchase cookies through the Girl Scouts of Nassau County that will be donated to people on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Through the Girl Scouts Cookie Care program, people can purchase and donate cookies. From now until April 17, the Girl Scouts of Nassau County will be donating the cookies to first responders, hospital workers, retail workers, restaurant employees and government employees who are continuing to work to fight the virus and keep the community going.
The selling of Girl Scout Cookies is also the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Girl Scouts. The coronavirus pandemic hit right in the middle of cookies season, the organization said, so many councils have not been able to sell their cookies. Purchasing cookies to donate not only gives a treat to people working in the community, but also helps to support the Girl Scouts.
