2016 Election Preview: 13th Assembly District

It’s that time of year again.

In addition to electing the next President of the United States, local voters will get a chance to vote for the representative of New York's thirteenth assembly district this Election Day.

Here’s what you need to know before heading out to the polls this November.

Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 8

Polling Times: Polls will open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Charles Lavine— incumbent (D)
• Jeffery J. Peress— Green Party
