23-Year-Old Saved In Nassau County After Possible Drug Overdose

GLEN HEAD, NY — A 23-year-old man has been hospitalized after suffering from a possible overdose in Glen Head. Police were called to a home on Meadow Lane around 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Nassau County police said.

At the home, they found the man unresponsive. A police officer and medic gave him the overdose reversal drug Narcan, and the man immediately became alert and responsive, police said.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital by the Glenwood Fire Department for further evaluation and treatment.
