31 Long Island Middle Schools Rank Among State's Best

A total of 31 Long Island schools made Niche.com's 2019 list of the top 100 public middle schools in New York.

Niche.com recently released national and state rankings of public middle schools across the country.

Long Island schools made up most of the top 10, with Jericho Middle School ranking as the top school in New York and No. 16 in the nation. America's top middle school was found to be BASIS Scottsdale in Arizona, according to Niche.

This ranking assessed public middle schools in the U.S. and analyzed them based on academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and parents on Niche.com.

Here are the Long Island schools that made the top 100 list in New York and their respective rankings:
