• Multiple fire departments extinguish blaze behind business in Locust Valley (news12.com) — Glen Cove firefighters were among 50 responders who helped knock down a truck fire that spread to a building behind Forest Iron Works in Locust Valley Monday afternoon. Crews from four neighboring departments contained the blaze in about 35 minutes, limiting damage to a van, dumpster, and parts of the building’s exterior.
