GLEN COVE, NY — A 23-year-old man on an e-scooter died after colliding with a Jeep Wrangler on Wednesday evening in Glen Cove, police said.
David Anthony De Jesus of Roslyn was riding an e-scooter westbound, colliding with a 2023 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 19-year-old woman near Dosoris Way and Elliot Place at 7:22 p.m., according to Nassau County police.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
