April 10: Boys Lacrosse, Garvies Point Programs

Five things to know about or do today in Glen Cove.

1. 's boys lacrosse game versus Clarke begins at 10 a.m. at Glen Cove.
2. Take a walk on the beach with 's Beach Ecology Program, where you can collect and identify different life forms. Afterword, catch a movie about what makes our coastlines so attractive to so many forms of life.
3. is on display at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn, open at 11 a.m. Admission is $10.
4. Children in grades K-5 are invited to learn about and to make their own at Gold Coast Public Library at 4 p.m.
5. Watch for today's story on major work scheduled for the Tappen Beach Marina.
