Assemblymember Lavine Launches Toy Drive Benefitting Glen Cove EOC

GLEN COVE, NEW YORK – With the holiday season in high gear, Assemblymember Charles Lavine (D-Glen Cove) is kicking-off his annual toy drive. Lavine’s office will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped gifts which will go to families in need.
“I am once again thrilled to make this announcement. It gives me great joy to help provide a little holiday joy for local children in need,” Lavine said.
Drop-offs can be made at Lavine’s district office, 1 School Street, Suite 303-B, Glen Cove, Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. In addition, toys may also be left at the Bryant Library in Roslyn; Glen Cove Public Library, and Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library in Oyster Bay; during regular library hours. Donations will be accepted through December 15th.

Assemblymember Charles Lavine represents New York’s 13th Assembly District in Nassau County. He presently serves as Chair of the Judiciary Committee and is a member of the Committee on Codes, Ethics and Guidance, Rules and Insurance. Lavine previously served as Chair of the Election Law Committee, Chair of the Committee on Ethics and Guidance, co-Chair of the New York State Legislative Ethics Commission and as Chair of the bipartisan Taskforce that produced the Assembly Speaker’s Policy on Sexual Harassment, Retaliation and Discrimination.
