GLEN COVE, NEW YORK – With the holiday season in high gear, Assemblymember Charles Lavine (D-Glen Cove) is reminding everyone that his annual toy drive is ongoing. Lavine’s office is accepting donations of new, unwrapped gifts which will go to families in need.
“It brings me a great measure of satisfaction to be able to sponsor a toy drive every year which brings a little joy to local children in need,” Lavine said.
Drop-offs can be made at Lavine’s district office (1 School Street, Suite 303-B, Glen Cove) Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. In addition, toys may also be left at the Bryant Library in Roslyn; Glen Cove Public Library, Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library, and Sea Cliff Library (children’s library) during regular library hours.
