CITY OF GLEN COVE ANNOUNCES FULL SLATE OF JULY 4TH CELEBRATIONS
The City of Glen Cove is proud to present a full day of events to celebrate Independence Day, starting with a beloved tradition and ending with a spectacular fireworks display.
Children’s Bicycle Parade – 9:30 AM
The day begins with Glen Cove’s annual Children’s Bicycle Parade, a fun and festive event for families. Children are encouraged to decorate their bicycles, scooters, wagons, strollers, or battery-powered vehicles in red, white, and blue. Participants will gather at the Finley Middle School horseshoe at 9:30 AM, with the parade kicking off at 10:00 AM and ending at Village Square.
Following the parade, there will be patriotic songs and a group Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck. Refreshments will be served. Helmets and safety gear are required for all riders. The parade is sponsored by the Glen Cove Youth Bureau.
Join us this Independence Day as we celebrate Glen Cove, community, and country — from morning parades to evening fireworks.
