LOCUST VALLEY, N.Y. — Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club, in partnership with Glen Cove Hospital, will host an inspiring evening with Dr. Maria Torroella Carney, MD, MACP, AGSF, President of Glen Cove Hospital and Executive Director of the Northwell Institute for Healthy Aging.

The event will take place Tuesday, September 29, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club, 135 Forest Avenue, Locust Valley, New York.

Dr. Carney will lead a discussion and book signing featuring her acclaimed book, The Aging Revolution: The History of Geriatric Health Care and What Really Matters to Older Adults.

As the local community continues to age, the need for thoughtful, age-friendly health care has never been more important. During the program, Dr. Carney will explore the evolution of geriatric health care, share perspectives on healthy aging, and discuss the issues and priorities that matter most to older adults.

The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage directly with Dr. Carney, followed by a book signing.
