We had a chance to visit Unlimited Sports Action in Port Washington recently and this massive sports facility has it all. Whether your planning a birthday party, looking for an exceptionalspecial needs program, summer camp or need a place to go when school is out, Unlimited Sports Action is there for you. In addion it's the perfect place for private lessons for your young athlete or introduction to sports with a multi sport program.
Their mission is clear and simple: "It is our mission to provide the best programs, staff, and equipment to fully meet the various sporting needs for our athletes. Unlimited Sports Action will create an exciting sports atmosphere for every athlete at the facility. We provide enjoyment and appreciation for sports and strive to encourage healthier lifestyles for all of our athletes in a safe and nurturing environment."
The June Pre-School Camp starts June 16th! This is offered to ages 3-5 years old, June 16th - 6/27 and there are still a few spots left. I think this is an ideal solution for those "in between" weeks whn school end and the July camp season starts. You can register here.
The camp has indoor and outdoor areas and is fully air conditioned and offers half and full day options for ages 3-10 years old. The space is massive in a 13,000 sq. foot building including a 130ft x 80ft turf field. A typical day at this camp will inspire your child to be the best in all aspects of their life and leave them exhausted by the end of the day.
The owner and his staff are so committed to include all children, they have a wonderful special needs program. Unlimited Sports Action is the current home of “Be The Best Sport,” a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on the athletic development of children with special needs. Its carefully adapted activities allow players to build skills in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. Be The Best Sport currently serves children with special needs, ages 3 – 18 years old. Professional coaches and dedicated volunteers help the children acquire athletic and social skills. In fact Mike Furino was honored with the Freedom Award this year for his work!
