City of Glen Cove Celebrates Magical Christmas Tree Lighting

Glen Cove, NY – The City of Glen Cove celebrated a joyful Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7, kicking off the holiday season with a day of festivities hosted by the Glen Cove Downtown BID. The BID organized the fun-filled activities until 4:45 PM, followed by the city taking over to continue the celebration. The event featured a beautiful blessing from Reverend Shawn Williams, and the stunning tree was sponsored by RXR/4D Development Corp and donated by Michael Corigliano and Phil Zuccala. The tree is a beautiful 32-foot Blue Spruce.

“We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for this special tradition,” said Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck. “Thanks to the Glen Cove Special Events Committee for distributing light-up necklaces to the children, and to the BID and all our sponsors for making this a magical day.”
