City of Glen Cove Welcomes Two New Fire Trucks to Volunteer Fire Depar

Glen Cove, NY – September 28, 2024 – Mayor Pam Panzenbeck, along with Deputy Mayor Donna McNaughton and Councilmembers Grady Farnan, Michael Ktistakis, Kevin Maccarone, and Marsha Silverman, proudly welcomed two new pumper fire trucks to the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, September 28th.

“These new fire trucks are a critical investment in the safety of our residents,” said Mayor Pam Panzenbeck. “We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteer firefighters, and it is our responsibility to ensure they have the best equipment available to protect our community.”

Joined by Fire Chief Grella and members of the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department Truck Committee, the new pumper trucks are a vital addition to the department’s fleet. These trucks are equipped with onboard water and pumps that assist firefighters in controlling and extinguishing fires.

“Our fire department is proud to continue serving Glen Cove with the latest technology and equipment,” said Fire Chief Grella. “These new pumper trucks will enhance our ability to respond quickly and effectively, ensuring we keep our community safe.”
