D’Votion: The Music of Earth Wind and Fire
Presented by Morgan Park Summer Music Festival on Sunday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m.

On Sunday, July 30, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival will present D’Votion: The Music of Earth Wind and Fire. The free performance begins at 7:00 p.m. in Morgan Park.
Renowned keyboardist, composer, producer and Glen Cove native, Marvin Floyd has assembled a talented ensemble of vocalists and musicians to present D’Votion, a tribute to the music of Earth Wind and Fire. Floyd is the former musical director for Glen Cove’s own Ashanti; he has performed with the O’Jays, Lou Rawls and Aretha Franklin. D’Votion honors EW&F’s unique mix of jazz, soul, Afro pop, R&B, disco and funk by performing many of the band’s hit songs, among them September, After The Love Has Gone, Boogie Wonderland, Shining Star, and of course Devotion.
“Marvin Floyd, one of Glen Cove’s own, has created a great show to enjoy the amazing sounds of Earth, Wind, and Fire. Come on down for this exciting night!” said the festival chairman, Tom Suozzi.

All concerts are held at Morgan Memorial Park in Glen Cove, overlooking the harbor at Germaine Street between Landing Road and McLoughlin Street. The free concerts begin at 7 pm.
The Title Sponsor for the 2023 season is The Terian Family and Rallye Motor Company. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Rallye Motor Company’s first dealership in Glen Cove. Since its founding, the Company has steadfastly manifested what it means to be a good corporate citizen and neighbor. The Terian Family and Rallye will ensure that the music will keep playing in the park for generations to come. The sponsor for the July 30th concert is the Glen Cove Hospital.

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. The high-caliber professional concerts offered each summer are free to the public and are completely funded through generous donations from businesses and individuals.
