At long last, the Bards Initiative has a reading series in Nassau County, at Page One Restaurant! We'll be running on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, with our first night on May 11. Our features for the first reading will be Vicki Iorio, J R Turek, Peter Dugan, James P. Wagner (Ishwa), and your ever-magnificent host, Marc Rosen. An open read will follow the features, and everyone is guaranteed a chance to read, no matter how many are on the list.
The reading itself is free, though we greatly appreciate any donations to the Bards Initiative's coffers. In addition, the head chef has prepared a world-class $5 menu to enhance the occasion (if you would prefer to order something off the regular menu, just ask your server). I look forward to seeing all of you there, and hope you'll all become regulars at this reading series.
