The annual Children’s Bicycle Parade hosted by the Glen Cove Youth Bureau will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday July 4. All are invited to participate. Children are encouraged to bring their decorated patriotic-themed bikes, scooters, trikes, and battery-powered vehicles.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and helmets and protective gear are mandatory.
The parade will travel down Forest Avenue to School Street and concludes at Village Square with an Independence Day celebration with Mayor Ralph Suozzi to include music, a sing-a-long of patriotic songs and refreshments.
