On Saturday, July 14, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival will present Young Performers in Concert, featuring 2012 Competition winners. The concert will begin at 7:30 pm in Morgan Park and is free to the public.
The Morgan Park Summer Music Festival Competition, held each spring, is open to vocalists and instrumentalists, ages 10 to 25. Each year, the judges choose a winner, a junior winner (aged 10-15) and a pop winner. The competition winners, along with a number of other very talented youth will perform a special concert on the Morgan Park stage.
Highlighting this years' concert are competition winner Mark Demidovich (piano), junior winner Carmine, Francesco and Marconi D'Auria-Gupta (string trio) and pop winner Liana Babich (vocals).

So come on down to Morgan Park and enjoy a wonderful evening of family entertainment under the stars. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Morgan Park. Morgan Park is located on Germaine Street at the end of Landing Road in Glen Cove. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.
