Brookville NY- Travel back in time on Wednesday, December 7,2011, with Peter Fornatale as he presents ”Back to the Garden: The Story of Woodstock.” This multimedia presentation will bring the iconic rock concert back to life. The WCWP sponsored event will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Hillwood Cinema, located on the first floor of Hillwood Commons on the C.W. Post Campus, and will cost $7 at the door.

“As time goes on the myth of Woodstock becomes far more important than the reality,” said Fornatale in an interview with Off the Shelf.
Fornatale’s book captivates you with real events and experiences from Woodstock. His presentation includes a collection of interviews with some of the most iconic artists to hit the Woodstock stage. Along with the interviews are original photos and videos that transport you from the Hillwood Cinema straight to concert.
Fonatale was one of the pioneers of Progressive Rock FM in the 1960’s. He became a New York Rock Radio legend from his twenty plus years at WNEW-FM. Today, he remains as one of the most identifiable voices on rock radio.
