Finley Students Participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Students walked for awareness, held bake sales and sold pink bracelets throughout the month.

Members of Finley Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society and student council held a variety of events to raise money and awareness in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On Oct. 16, the students attended the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Jones Beach, in addition to holding bake sales and selling pink bracelets throughout the month. The Finley staff also contributed to the cause through a “wear pink” fundraising day. In all, the students donated $750 to the American Cancer Society.
