Although being from either side of ‘The Pond’, these two legendary Rockers, Pat Dinizio of The Smithereens and John Ford of The Strawbs share much in common in their musical backgrounds, from being songwriters, vocalists and founding members of some of their band projects, to Gold and Multi-Platinum Record Award recipients for their many Chart topping, hook laden Hits in US, UK and Canada and beyond. Ford also received an Ivor Novello Songwriting Award for “Part of the Union.” In addition to all their albums, both Rockers have performed on popular TV programs, music videos, films, DVDs and major world tours with other well-known bands, besides sharing a common band inspiration – The Beatles, they will also be performing together at the concert.
