It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and great places to explore.

 1. - Where/When: 100 Landing Rd, Roslyn, Thursday at 6 p.m. Why Go: You won't feel guilty eating chocolate at this event. A guided wine and chocolate tasting by a chocolate sommelier will benefit the Hope for Stroke and the HBA Foundation. Pricing: $50/guest if purchased by April 15, $65/guest after.

 2. - Where/When:  , Friday. Why Go: Support Animal Welfare and help PAW (Promote Animal Welfare), a non-profit, low cost spay/neuter & vaccination mobile facility. While you are there check out their latest mobile surgical unit. Pricing: Free event.

 3. - Where/When: , Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Why Go: A perfect springtime class for the little ones. Children ages eight to 10 will learn in a safe, fun and purposeful environment. Better yet, bring a friend for free. Pricing: $20.00 per child (includes 1 friend).

 4. - Where/When: 1000 Ocean Pkwy, Wantagh, NY 11793 (Jones Beach State Park, Parking Field 5) , Sunday at 8:45 a.m. Why Go: Get into shape for the summer and help raise money to benefit the new Katz Institute for Women's Health and Katz Women's Hospitals of North Shore-LIJ Health System.  Pricing: Free.

5. - Where/When: 150 Abbey Ln, Levittown, NY 11756 , Sunday at 9 a.m. Why Go: Do you have it in you to run/walk a 5k? This 5K will benefit the foundation's Back to School Program for needy children. Pricing: $15-$20.
