Recognizes Elisa C. and Isaias A. as Youth of the Month for January.

Junior Youth of the Month Elisa C. is a bright and creative six-year-old first grader who hopes to become a teacher one day, a dream that reflects her love of learning and helping others. Elisa enjoys reading and playing soccer in her free time. A fairly new member who first joined through the 2025 Summer Program, Elisa is already making a meaningful impact at the Club, quickly finding her place and forming strong connections with her peers. Art is Elisa’s favorite subject in school and her go-to activity at the Club where she enjoys creating special projects alongside her friends. One of her favorite memories is making cat masks, an activity that allowed her creativity to shine. Beyond the many art projects available to her, Elisa is especially appreciative of the homework support she receives at the Club and is proud of her growing confidence and progress in math. Elisa also appreciates the healthy supper provided each day, making new friends, and playing games. She also enjoyed participating in health and nutrition activities, including making tacos and banana sushi. “I like the Club because it’s fun,” said Elisa, who was recognized for working collaboratively with her friends, always willing to lend a hand, and demonstrating teamwork and kindness well beyond her years. Her caring nature and eagerness to help others make her a wonderful role model for fellow members.
Senior Youth of the Isaias A. is an outstanding 13-year-old eighth grader being recognized as Youth of the Month for the third time during his six-year involvement at the Club. Known for his positive energy and encouraging attitude, Isaias helps create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. He is often seen assisting friends with homework and offering support to his peers, making sure no one feels left out. One of Isaias’s favorite memories at the Club is making his first three-point shot in basketball after weeks of dedicated practice, a moment that perfectly reflects his determination, perseverance, and personal growth. “The Club is a good place for me to be myself, hang out with friends, and have fun,” Isaias shared. An all-around teen, Isaias takes his academics seriously, with biology as his favorite subject, while also excelling in athletics. He participates in his school’s soccer, basketball, and track teams, demonstrating strong teamwork, consistency, and leadership both on and off the field.Looking ahead, Isaias hopes to pursue a career as a pilot, a goal that reflects his ambition, focus, and drive. Through his positive influence and willingness to help others, Isaias continues to make a meaningful impact within the Club community.
