GLEN COVE, NY--Glen Cove High School's Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Committee released a nearly-five-minute video putting the building's school spirit on full display.

The video was shot the day before Spring Break with the idea of celebrating everything the students love about Glen Cove, from its sports and clubs, to the general student body, as well as fostering a sense of community inclusivity.

Following several walkthroughs and rehearsals in the prior weeks, cameraperson Lucretia Smith, a senior, takes viewers on a tour through the halls of Glen Cove High School, starting in the auditorium. Throughout the video, different students take the lead in front of the camera, walking backwards through a swarm of fellow students all while lip-syncing Katy Perry's "Firework."

The video was done in a single-shot and the students nailed it on the third take. The lone edit is after Perry's song ends, as the video concludes with a drone shot of the school's band playing an instrumental version of "Firework" in the gymnasium.
