Glen Cove National Honor Society Inducts 42 New Members

The annual ceremony was held May 16.

Glen Cove High School’s National Honor Society inducted 42 new members in an annual ceremony on May 16.

“These students work hard, make good choices and, in the process of making themselves better, look to make their community better,” Principal Antonio Santana said.

Highlighting the ceremony was a performance of the Pledge of Allegiance by The Select Corrale and a violin/viola duet by Patricia Abraham and Grace Blinkoff.

The candle-lighting ceremony featured NHS officers describing the characteristics of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Inductees were called one by one to the auditorium stage and presented with a certificate of membership and a flower.
