Glen Cove Police Officer Exam: Submission Deadline is Oct. 14
Want to pursue a career in law enforcement?

Anyone looking to pursue a career in law enforcement has until Friday, Oct. 14 to sign up for the Glen Cove Police Officer Exam.
The City of Glen Cove is one of two cities on Long Island that has its own police force. Fifty men and women are currently serving the Glen Cove community under the leadership of Chief William Whitton.
“Those who make the choice to proudly serve and protect our society and its residents can expect a most fulfilling and rewarding experience,” Whitton said in a press release. He also added a career in law enforcement “isn’t for everyone.”

The exam will be held on November 19. Each applicant will be charged a $50 fee. Glen Cove residency must be established by January 2017 to be considered and residency must be maintained until appointment.
Applications are available at City Hall room 205 or online at www.cityofglencoveny.org.
