Glen Cove School Budget, Board Election Results Are In
BREAKING: Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.
Glen Cove residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.
The $85,907,869 budget passed with 590 yes votes and 172 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.63 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.38 percent tax levy increase.
Voters also elected Monica Alexandris-Miller and Robert Field to the Glen Cove Board of Education.
