Glen Cove School Tours Planned Ahead Bond Vote On Repairs
The referendum, planned Oct. 22, is available only to registered voters. Two propositions will be up for a vote.
GLEN COVE, NY — Glen Cove City Schools voters will have the opportunity to cast a ballot next month on a bond referendum that would address critical and essential school repairs and upgrades.
The referendum, planned Oct. 22, is available only to registered voters. Two propositions will be on the ballot, each requiring separate votes, though the second can only move forward if the first passes. Both were developed by the district’s architect, members of the bond committee, and the board of education and administration.
The district is offering building tours to allow the community to see what needs repaired and renovated. A series of weekday evening tours will be available, as well as on Saturday morning.
