GLEN COVE, NEW YORK (DECEMBER 2022) — The Glen Cove School District recently announced that 35 student-musicians will have their talents on display at the 2023 Nassau Music Educators Association All-County Music Festival to be held in January 2023 at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville.

Students throughout the District were selected for chorus, orchestra, band and jazz ensemble performances based on their stellar performance scores at the New York State School Music Association Solo Evaluation Festival. Teachers could also recommend students for the elite ensembles, which bring together standout student-musicians from across Nassau County schools.

“The talent of our students, coupled with the guidance and instruction provided by our outstanding music teachers, is beyond measure,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Maria Rianna. “These young people are extraordinary and this recognition is well deserved!”
