Landing School students taped Principal Benjamin Roberts to a wall as part of the school’s grand finale to its Pennies for Patients fundraising campaign.
Students raised $3,800 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during a two-week period. This is the 15th year that the school has supported the organization, raising more than $36,000 in total. Principal Roberts described the fundraising efforts as “a true testament to the generous and caring Landing staff and school community.”
He also extended his gratitude to teacher Mrs. Maria DePace for all of her hard work in organizing this wonderful initiative, and to the entire Landing staff for their help and hard work.
