Glen Cove Students Named Winners in Poster Contest
The students' posters will now compete with those of other students from Long Island.
Congratulations to Finley Middle School sixth-graders Ellie Knobel and Suleyma Lazo Velasquez on being named winners in the Shanti Fund poster contest.
The contest's theme this year was “peace and wisdom.”

According to the Shanti Fund website, the organization and its volunteers have been actively promoting peace through education for more than 12 years.
