Glen Cove Students Visit Set of 'Kevin Can Wait'
The students attended a live taping of the sitcom, which stars Kevin James.

A group of Glen Cove High School TV Production students, along with Media Communications teacher Christopher Barry and TV studio assistant Pasquale Iannelli, recently attended a taping of the CBS sitcom “Kevin Can Wait.”
The show stars Kevin James, known for his roles in “The King of Queens” and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” who was born and raised on Long Island. As soon as Barry heard the show would be taping nearby, he reached out to CBS for tickets.
"This is the first network primetime series to be recorded completely in a Long Island studio,” said Barry. “It's history being made practically in our backyard and it will have a major impact on the Long Island TV and film business. I wanted our students to be a part of it. It also shows them firsthand the huge career possibilities that exist in this industry and reinforces what we do in the TV studio."
