Glen Cove Youth Bureau, Girl Scout Troop 125 Help Those in Need

Glen Cove’s Girl Scout Troop 125, with assistance from two members of Glen Cove Boy Scout Pack 6, teamed up with the Glen Cove Youth Bureau with its annual holiday food drive was held on Saturday.

The scouts spent the afternoon collecting donations at North Shore Farms. Boxes of non-perishable food items and cash donations will be used to provide holiday food baskets to over 100 needy families in the community.

By living their scout promise, these young people helped many needy families have a bountiful holiday feast. Pictured here are the hard working members of Troop 125 and Pack 6 with some of the generous donations they collected at North Shore Farms.
