GMA Karate & Kickboxing Donates Food for the Holidays

Glen Cove, New York, December 19, 2014 – In the spirit of the holidays, students and parents from GMA Karate & Kickboxing, located at 275 Glen Street, searched their cupboards for non-perishable food to share with those in need. Sensei Hender Alvarado, owner of the Karate and Kickboxing studio, and his team brought the collected items to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church to be distributed to those in need. This is yet another way that GMA Martial Arts has demonstrated to its students the importance of giving back to their local community. “Giving back is part of our martial arts tradition and culture,” said Sensei Alvarado.
