Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation Annual Golf Classic
10/12/15 Golf Classic at The Glen Head Country Club benefiting Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation and Autism Speaks
The Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation is proud to announce that it will be holding its Annual Golf Classic on Monday, October 12, 2015, at the Glen Head Country Club in Glen Head, NY. This year, the Foundation will be honoring Billy Bastek, Merchandising Vice President-Tools for The Home Depot. This exciting event will benefit both the Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation and Autism Speaks.
The Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation enables children with special needs in the New York Metropolitan Area and the Northeast United States to experience summer camp. By partnering with existing accredited camps, the Foundation affords families the ability to send children into integrated camp settings. The Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation believes that every child deserves the opportunity to participate in a safe, caring, and fun learning environment.
At Autism Speaks, the goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. The organization is dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder. Autism Speaks is committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals.
