Mayor Pamela D. Panzenbeck will be honored by the Charles Evans Center at its Tenth Anniversary Celebration on March 25th, 2025.

Glen Cove, NY – The City of Glen Cove is proud to announce that Mayor Pamela D. Panzenbeck will be honored by CEC Healthcare, formerly the Charles Evans Center, at its Tenth Anniversary Celebration on March 25th, 2025. This recognition highlights Mayor Panzenbeck’s unwavering commitment to ensuring quality healthcare access and her longstanding support of vital social service initiatives in Glen Cove.

Since taking office, Mayor Panzenbeck has been a key advocate for the well-being of Glen Cove residents, fostering strong partnerships with organizations that provide essential healthcare and social services. Her dedication to the Glen Cove InterAgency Council (IAC) has been especially notable, as she and her administration have worked closely with local human service organizations to enhance community support programs.

“We are pleased to honor Mayor Panzenbeck at our Ten-Year Anniversary as she has been a key partner in our efforts to bring high-quality healthcare to the residents of Glen Cove,” said Dr. James Dolan, CEO of the CEC Healthcare.

Dr. Daniel Vogrin, PhD., Director of Operations - CEC Healthcare, also expressed his appreciation, stating, “The first thing that comes to mind is the Mayor’s longstanding support of the Glen Cove InterAgency Council (IAC), which is a consortium of local social, human, and health service organizations. The Mayor frequently attends meetings, and if not, her Deputy always attends. She is generous in her praise and appreciation of our work. Many of her staff are active members of the council, e.g., youth board, CDA, substance use, veterans, seniors.”

Mayor Panzenbeck shared her gratitude for the honor, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in serving the Glen Cove community. “I am truly humbled to be recognized by CEC Healthcare. Their commitment to providing high-quality healthcare and vital services to those in need is inspiring. CEC Healthcare, a Federally Qualified Health Center, has been providing high-quality, integrated healthcare services to vulnerable populations across Long Island for the past decade.
