Middle School Students Compete At VEX Robotics Tournament
The team is already making plans to work aggressively for next year's competition.

The Robert M. Finley Middle School Robotics team recently competed in the VEX Robotics team tournament. The tournament, which took place at Glen Cove High School, uses the VEX Robotics Design System to build innovative robots designed to score the most points possible in qualification matches, elimination matches and skills challenges.

The team had a strong showing as they displayed their hard work, dedication and school spirit in their design and competition skills. The team is already making plans to work aggressively for next year’s competition and is looking forward to new challenges and learning experiences.
VEX Robotics competitions are presented by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation and are considered the ultimate STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) activities for middle and high school students.
